At The Shades of Motherhood Network (SOMN), we blend ancestral wisdom, modern evidence-based practice, and culturally congruent care. You will explore not only the physical aspects of birth but also the emotional, mental, and spiritual dimensions that shape each birthing journey. This training focuses on: Culturally responsive, trauma-informed care Black maternal health and birth justice Community-based advocacy and empowerment Ethical and professional doula practice Collaboration with healthcare and support teams
